Information literacy for UJ students. Start with "1 Why Information Literacy" and end with "9 Writing & Referencing"

STEP 4: Electronic Course Reserve (ECR)

  • ECR gives Neo access to materials reserved for a specific course.

  • Neo can access materials for his course by typing the course name or by searching, using his lecturer’s name.

STEP 2: MYUJlink

  • My UJLink is Neo's personalised library that allows him to renew material online.
  • It also keeps a list of Neo's library lending history.
  • Only UJ staff and registered students are able to renew their own material online
  • Click here to access it.

STEP 3: Library catalogue (UJLink)

The library catalogue can be regarded as the library index (the same as a book index). It tells Neo exactly where materials meeting his specific needs can be found and he can search the catalogue using keywords, phrases, book titles, authors, and the call number.
