Celebrating Freedom Day: Honoring Our Journey to Democracy
On April 27th, we celebrate Freedom Day, a landmark moment in South Africa’s history—the day when all citizens, regardless of race, had the right to vote in our first democratic elections in 1994. This day reminds us of the sacrifices made for our freedom and the responsibility we carry to uphold democracy.
