SAVING FILES

Saving: Seeks to update the current content of the previously saved file
Save as: Aims to create a new document/file or save an existing or modified document/file with a new file name.


Saving early and often can prevent your work from being lost.
The save option is found in almost all programs, commonly under the "File" menu or through an icon that resembles a floppy diskette.
When clicking the Save option, the file is saved as its previous name.
However, if the file is new, the program asks the user to name the file and where to save the file.

Save as: 
You'll also need to pay close attention to where you save the document so it will be easy to find it later.
Click on File in the upper left corner. A list of options will appear.
Click Save As. Select or browse a location or browse. A window will appear. Type file name and save.

TASK BAR

The taskbar
The Taskbar consists of the area between the start menu and the icons to the left of the clock. 
It appears at the bottom of the screen which enables you to quickly and easily access applications.
It shows the programs that you have open on your computer. 
To switch from one program to another, single-click the program on the Taskbar, and it will become the frontmost window.

MINIMISE, MAXIMISE, AND EXIT

Minimise
Minimise is an action in the operating system to hide a window but keep the program running in the background.
When minimised, the program remains on the taskbar, but not visible on the screen. 
Maximise 
Nearly all open windows have resizing options. 
Maximise allows the user to enlarge a window, usually making it fill the entire screen or the program window where it is contained.
To maximise a window, you just need to click the Maximise button on the title bar. 
After clicking it, the window will occupy the entire screen of your device. 
You can also click maximise to make the window fit part of the screen. 
Exit
Exit is a command or option used to close a program or file.
Click on the X at the top-right corner of a window to close it. 

These buttons can be found in the top-right corner of the window.
