To achieve academic success Neo needs to be able to think critically and solve problems. In other words, he needs to be able to objectively analyse and evaluate topics/subjects and form sound judgements based on his analysis and evaluation.
Now, this can be difficult if he is not competent in applying information literacy skills.
Being an information literate skilled person, Neo will be able to deal with any subject or topic.
This unit teaches Neo how to assess and analyse an assignment task, assess and analyse the information needed to complete the assigned task successfully, how to define an information problem and what information literacy skills he can use during the problem- solving process.
