Predatory journals are exploitative academic publications that prioritize profit over scholarly integrity. They often charge authors high Article Processing Charges (APCs) without providing the rigorous peer review and editorial services typical of legitimate journals . These journals are known for their deceptive practices, such as spamming academics with submission requests, using fake metrics, and imitating the names of reputable journals

  • Is it easy to discover the latest papers in the journal?
  • Can you easily identify and contact the publisher?
