The Cambridge University Press has made the decision to transform into an “Open Research” publisher.
The SANLiC Transformative agreement deal is for the next four years (2021-2024)
Cambridge University Press (CUP) currently publishes over 400 peer-reviewed scholarly journals of which 330 are Hybrid journals and 40 are Gold Open Access journals
Participating institutions (incl. UJ) receive access to CUP's full collection and affiliated authors can publish in most Hybrid and Gold Open Access OUP journals, without paying Article Processing Charges (APC's). A small number of journals, 33 in the Cambridge University Press collection do not offer open access publishing.

There is no limit on the number of articles that can be published open access and free of any transactional article processing charges (APC's) by authors affiliated to participating institutions
