Tired of manually entering references? EndNote's Capture Reference bookmarklet streamlines the process!

Here's how it works:

  1. Install the bookmarklet: Visit the Downloads section on the EndNote Online page. Please note that you will need to login.

2. Go to the  "Downloads".

3. Drag the Capture Reference button to your browser's bookmarks bar for easy access. Your bookmarks bar might be hidden by default. Refer to your browser's specific instructions (from Google) if needed (see the bottom of the page for common browsers).

How to use Reference Capture

  1. Drag and Drop: Click, hold, and drag the Capture Reference bookmarklet icon from the EndNote Online page directly onto your Favorites Bar. If successful, it should be added as a new button. See the above screen.
